Built in 1896

Built for the attendees at the Holy Virgin Church in Plovdiv, Bulgaria on October 30, 1896 with the donations of Stefan Geshov. Hundred years later somebody barbarically replaced the original water pouring device.

    A shame to have defiled that lovely fountain. I love the old street with the modern cars.

    To bad they ruined it by putting in the modern tap, I wish they would just leave heritage items alone, but your photo is really nice.
